What To Do If Your Child Is Being Bullied
1. Stay calm.

2. Sit down with your child and write down everything they tell you (objective measurable proof).

3. Call your principal to discuss in a calm and mature way what has been told to you and what can be done. Pointing fingers and blaming others won't help your child. Remember if you didn't know it is possible that the teacher or principal didn't know either.

4. Reassure your child that if you have to speak to the principal that it will be done outside of school hours.

5. Learn your schools anti bullying policies and procedures. Knowing these procedures gives you the objective measures that the school must follow when someone has reported bullying.

6. Remember the school is just as concerned about your child’s safety and welfare, so let's work together.
