Learning Objectives

Materials Needed
- A shoe box.
- Pictures or sayings for decorating.
- A student reporting form — a sample PDF is provided (see the Ballot Box Report Bullying Form download below).
Step-by-Step Instructions
- Introduce the reporting box (3 minutes). Say: “We are going to make our own reporting box — a Report Bullying Ballot Box.”
- Decorate the box (12 minutes). Say: “Take a shoe box and get your class to decorate it with pictures or sayings.”
- Display the box (2 minutes). Say: “Now we will display it somewhere in the classroom, where anyone can reach it.”
- Explain the form (3 minutes). Say: “A student reporting form is required. A sample PDF is provided, but you may also collaborate with your students to develop your own questions.”
