TELL AN ADULT:
Statistics show that telling an adult is the best way to reduce bullying.
PEER TO PEER:
When a student approachs a bully and tells them to stop.
Discuss further safe environment alternatives and why we need to intervene.
BALANCE APPROACH:
When someone says something negative about a person you reply with a positive comment about that person.
CONSEQUENCE APPROACH:
When a person maybe thinking of doing something that is wrong (ex. posting a bad picture or threatening to beat someone up), as a friend you give them consequences of what might happen if they follow through with their actions.
BEFRIEND:When a bystander goes up to the victim and asks them to join them for lunch- to help build their self-esteem. Bullies like to pick on students who have no friends.
